As a mother of three kids, I work to keep my family happy and healthy as we navigate our life together.

As a military spouse, I move almost every 2 years and face the challenges of deployments.

As a writer, I share my search for creative solutions and ideas for better living with other families based on my experience as a mom and military spouse, the latest studies and research, plus the input of subject matter experts and other families.

From the family pet to whether or not your kid should ride the school bus to helping your child find their creative side, if it has to do with family life, I write about it. I also write about issues of concern to military families and, more importantly, how we can overcome them. Every once in awhile I manage to publish something classified as "funny."
